Cluster Fund 2026 call closes with 36 project proposals involving over 150 local partners
The annual EUNIC Cluster Fund Call for Proposals closed on 31 October with a total of 36 eligible project proposals received from EUNIC clusters around the world.
This year’s call received submissions from EUNIC clusters involving a total of 33 EUNIC members, 19 EU Delegations or European Commission Representations and around 150 local partners. Project proposals explore themes such as urban spaces, community building, sustainability and climate and inclusion - expressed through various art forms, including visual and performing arts, fashion, film, architecture and design.
A jury composed of four representatives from EUNIC member organisations will now review all eligible submissions. They will meet in Brussels in early December to evaluate and select the projects that will receive Cluster Fund support. The selected projects will be announced at EUNIC’s General Assembly in Brussels on 9-10 December.
Established in 2012, the Cluster Fund is EUNIC’s main instrument to financially support collaborative initiatives led by EUNIC clusters that put the principles of international cultural relations into practice. The Cluster Fund supports projects that offer contemporary and creative responses to local and global challenges in innovative ways. The fund supports projects of all kinds of project formats, on any topic and involving art forms from across the cultural spectrum.
The Cluster Fund is made possible through voluntary contributions from EUNIC members at headquarters level, recognising the vital role clusters play in implementing EUNIC's global strategy.
