Conference on Culture and Smart City

EUNIC Cluster Singapore in cooperation with the National University of Singapore will host a conference on Culture and Smart City in the framework of the World City Summit in Singapore.

"Smart City" is a terminology referring to concepts that aim to make cities and urban societies more liveable with the help of digitisation. The term has advanced to become a global "buzzword", being used in various discourses with regards of envisioning the city of the future, primarily in the areas of infrastructure, technology and urban planning. This initiative seeks to enrich these discourses with a cultural perspective. To facilitate this, the EUNIC Cluster Singapore in cooperation with the National University of Singapore will host a conference on Culture and Smart City in the framework of the World City Summit in Singapore.
