Iran
Classical music exchange and concert

To commemorate 75 years of peace in Europe (1945 end of WWII), EUNIC Iran is planning to organize a European Classical Music Exchange project.

In partnership with the Austrian Iranian Symphony Orchestra, a formation of young talented Iranian classical musicians, EUNIC Iran wants to organize specialized masterclasses with European musicians, focusing on instruments where the proficiency in Iran is less developed, such as the Wagner Tuba, the trumpet, the trombone and the fagot. This valuable exchange will be crowned by two Symphonic concerts focusing on Beethoven (250th anniversary), the quite challenging Symphony No 9 of Anton Bruckner (first time in Iran) and a composition by Ahmad Pejman.
