"EUNIC-UNIQUE: Accessible life – a motivation for us" - a photography exhibition that promotes active inclusion and full participation of disabled people in the society. The series of pictures captures strong emotions, passion, determination and excellence of elite athletes as well as the less mobile people with a disability represent a catalyst for societal change. The pictures give also an insight not only into Paralympic Sports, but at the same time they depict true sporting heroes. Contrary to popular opinion, the most difficult challenges disabled people face do not have much to do with their own mobility, but rather with prejudice and discrimination. The exhibition targets people of all age categories and inspires disabled people to participate in sports. The exhibition opening was accompanied by a special performance of the Wheelchair Dance Sport Competition multiple world champions – Helena Kašická (SK) and Peter Vidašič (SK). A follow-up discussion took place on October 3rd and was live on ORF Sport.
