EUNIC Mobility Scheme 2024-2025: Call for participants
Are you interested in travelling to another EUNIC member or cluster to learn more about their approach and exchange on a wide range of topics? The EUNIC Mobility Scheme allows any colleague of a EUNIC member to exchange knowledge and gain skills.
With this new edition of the EUNIC Mobility Scheme, you could for example:
- Explore DutchCulture’s work on climate action and cultural relations, including learnings from the CCCLab in Berlin;
- Gain insights into the insights into the Euro-Egyptian Cultural Programme (EECP) with the EUNIC cluster in Cairo;
- dive into ifa’s transnational work supporting civil society around the world and providing safe spaces for artists and human rights activists;
- learn about the operational aspects of the institute, academic programme management of Instituto Cervantes in Tokyo;
- explore developments in the field of cultural relations at EU level with the EUNIC office in Brussels;
- and more!
We are pleased that in this edition, we have also received three hosting offers in Ukraine, including by the Ukrainian Institute. For colleagues applying to visits in Ukraine please note that a special briefing meeting on the security protocol to be agreed with EUNIC’s board and the hosts will be convened in due course.
How does it work?
You can browse the 25 hosting offers here and apply via this typeform. Please note that this is a competitive process, so we encourage you to really convey why you would be a good fit for the hosting offer.
Finances
If you wish to apply, please check with your own organisation’s headquarters or your line managers before you do so! EUNIC member organisations are encouraged to finance or co-finance the costs of their staff participating in the EUNIC Mobility Scheme. There are a limited number of travel grants available from EUNIC for the Mobility Scheme. If you are selected for a Mobility Scheme visit, you will have the opportunity to request a grant. Please be aware that these grants are in priority for participants who are travelling within their region.
Timeframe
17 June 2024: Deadline for applications to the hosting offers
Until Augst 2024: Selection and matching of participants in consulation with hosts
September 2024 to June 2025: Visits take place
