This year, the EUNIC office received over 145 applications for 25 hosting offers. As always, the final selection of participants for each hosting offer was made by the hosts, who considered the profile and motivation of each applicant in relation to the content and nature of the offer.

As a result of the final selection, around 70 colleagues have been matched with their hosts and will soon begin planning their visits. Those who were not assigned to a hosting offer will have the opportunity to apply for next year’s call.

The aim of the Mobility Scheme is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices among EUNIC colleagues, allowing them to discover different approaches and develop new ways of working. This edition will feature a diverse range of visits worldwide. Some will be hosted at EUNIC members' local branches, such as the Instituto Cervantes in Algiers, the Goethe-Institut in Bratislava, or the Danish Cultural Institute in Beijing. Others will take place at EUNIC members' headquarters, such as the Swedish Institute in Stockholm or the Lithuanian Culture Institute in Vilnius. EUNIC Clusters, like those in Vienna or Cairo, are also participating. Additionally, the EUNIC Global office looks forward to hosting several colleagues in Brussels in Spring 2025.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with their colleagues in person on various topics, including journalism, civil society, communications, gender equality, residency programs, and youth engagement.

You can browse the hosting offers here and follow us on social media to stay updated about the visits once they start.
