ClimArt Action: Cultural Relations, Climate Change & the Environment will explore the intersection between cultural relations, climate change and the environment, building on the Climate Culture(s) Creative Lab in Berlin and the research that led to the EUNIC Sustainability Toolkit.

The ClimArt Action webinar will present EUNIC’s sustainability journey and explore how cultural relations and climate action are linked, with project insights, key challenges and learnings from climate initiatives and sustainability efforts across the EUNIC membership and cluster network.

The session is open to all EUNIC members interested in learning more about climate and cultural relations initiatives and projects across the EUNIC network, regardless of where they are on their climate action journey.

Objectives

  1. Sharing knowledge, providing inspiration and creating a space for mutual learning on climate change and environmental strategies and programmes.
  2. Discussing progress and challenges faced by EUNIC and its members to inform approaches and contribute to future recommendations on climate action and policy through cultural relations.
  3. Laying the groundwork for a subsequent in-person Knowledge Sharing Workshop on cultural relations, climate change, and the environment in Paris with a small group of EUNIC colleagues actively working on the topic.

Knowledge Sharing Workshop in Paris

The online webinar serves as a preparatory meeting for an in-person Knowledge Sharing Workshop taking place at the Institut français in Paris on 19-20 March.

This in-person workshop is for a small group of EUNIC colleagues working on sustainability strategies and projects at the intersection of cultural relations and climate action.

Discussions will focus on strategic involvement, joint next steps as a European network, and advocacy in the field of climate action.
